Regan Murray

Ms. Regan Murray is a Project Manager and certified Emergency Medical Technician at the Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends at the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health. She provides oversight to one of the team’s projects funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): “Stress and Violence in fire-based EMS Responders (SAVER).” She joined the Drexel Team in January 2015 as a Graduate Research Assistant and took on the Project Manager role in October 2017. 

Previous projects Ms. Murray has assisted with during her time with the FIRST Center include, the Fire Service Organizational Culture of Safety survey, and the “Mitigation of Occupational Violence to Firefighters and EMS Responders” report published by the United States Fire Administration and International Association of Fire Fighters, in addition to being a member of the Inaugural Class (2016) and Class of 2017 Fire service Injury Research, Epidemiology, & Evaluation (FIRE) Fellowship. She also conducted a mixed methods study assessing the work environment, stress, and mental health in EMS Responders for her Community Based Masters Project. 

Ms. Murray received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University and earned her Master of Public Health degree, concentrating in Community Health and Prevention, from Drexel University.
